been a while since I last posted...

It's been a while since I last posted. In case you missed it, the last article I wrote talked about "artists as parents." Ok, hint, hint. :)
I'm transitioning into this very exciting phase. I was overwhelmed at first, but slowly but surely, I'm....we're getting used to the idea and finding our visualizations syncing. My art partner, Duff, who is also my baby's father are battling with "should be like this", "should be like that", and maintaining the lives we enjoyed independently as well as together. What kind of background and setting are we going to create for the baby? Well, stick around and find out! Of course, I wanted to share my pregnancy photos.
This photo was taken in Pawley's Island, SC. We are still traveling together. Though the dream was to sail the seven seas, I think we will have to postpone that for now and just sail locally with friends and family.
I don't think we're going to cut out art from our lives. So here's what we did. We worked together on the ambience and art for the newly opened restaurant Krazy Fish in Georgetown, SC. But being pregnant, I refused to climbed a ladder to spray paint anything I couldn't reach. Duff is working on finishing the decor with a crew. So it might be a little while before I post finished pictures of the place. But here's some artwork that didn't require me to climb.
There's so much to share with you. But I better get back to the task of making our lives beautiful for the baby. There's so much to do. Thanks for keeping in touch!
